Central® 235 Reinforced Water Activated Tape is a 72mm wide, 375-foot white kraft tape built for permanent, tamper-evident carton sealing. Its patented starch-based adhesive activates on contact with water, bonding directly into corrugated board fibers rather than adhering through pressure alone — creating a seal that cannot be removed without visible damage.
Fiberglass yarns laminated between kraft paper layers deliver high tensile and burst resistance, making this tape well suited for heavy cartons, high-stack pallets, and distribution environments where packages encounter rough handling. Because the water-activated adhesive is not pressure-sensitive, it maintains full bonding integrity across extreme hot and cold temperature ranges common in uncontrolled warehouse and cold-storage facilities.
The white finish accepts overprinting and direct labeling on the tape surface. The fiberglass reinforcement is separable during paper repulping, keeping sealed corrugated cartons recyclable. Each case contains 8 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
